NCEE Receives ISTA Certification

LINCOLN, NEB. (March 19, 2009)- NCEE Labs has recently received recognition from ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) as a certified testing laboratory. ISTA is an organization focused on the specific concerns of transport packaging, and ISTA test procedures define how packages should perform to ensure protection of their contents. Use of ISTA test procedures reduces risks in the transport environment and increases confidence in the safe delivery of a tested packaged-product. ISTA pioneered the concept of package performance testing and certification 60 years ago and today their test procedures and certification programs are at the forefront of Transport Packaging. NCEE’s recent certification further advances the outstanding service that is provided in both the vibration and environmental testing currently performed. With an increase in customer demand, NCEE will be adding certification for thermal, impact, drop, shock and compression testing in the future. Currently NCEE is able to perform testing to ISTA standards 1A, 1B, 1E, 1G, 1H, 3A, 3E and 3F. NCEE is proud of the hard work of its staff that went into this accomplishment. “Lead by the efforts of Bob McElroy, this advancement further expands the testing capabilities in the Lincoln community”, says Doug Kramer, Lab Manager of NCEE.
