Nebraska Center for Excellence in Electronics (NCEE Labs) is a unique collaboration between industry, higher education, and government. NCEE Labs is a nonprofit organization, created to meet the growing demand for a product compliance testing and consulting company that was accessible and responsive to the needs of companies in the Great Plains area. NCEE Labs is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, a few minutes from the airport and Interstate 80.

           

NCEE Labs lies at the heart of the University of Nebraska Technology Park, and houses a state-of-the-art pre-compliance and compliance testing laboratory.  Our facility is convenient for engineers who want to be on-site during testing to address questions that could result in costly delays.

To provide competitively priced, on-time, and reliable product compliance testing to manufacturers and businesses located predominantly, but not exclusively, in Nebraska, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas.

NCEE Labs plays an integral role in the support infrastructure available for manufacturing companies in Nebraska in order to enhance growth and expansion of technology industries within the state, diversify the economy of Nebraska, and provide increased employment opportunities for trained engineers and skilled technicians.

NCEE Labs offers the same quality, accuracy, and reliable testing found in large testing facilities located in metropolitan areas, but with a level of personalized service and consultation that is coupled with flexibility that enables companies to get their products to market on time and within budget.  We bring together our experience and expertise in testing with our Midwestern work ethic and values, and build relationships with our customers, business partners, and communities that are rooted in trust and respect.

                                    NCEE Labs testing services include:

1. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing for US, Canadian and European Union, and other global markets.
2. Environmental and reliability testing including: temperature and humidity, salt fog, ingress protection, dust, altitude simulation, and vibration and shock.
3. International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) testing
4. Safety testing for International standards to demonstrate compliance with OSHA Standards in North America and CE safety testing for the European Union.
5. Real-time X-ray for inspection and quality assurance.

At NCEE Labs, we focus on providing on-time, affordable product compliance testing and exceptional customer service to each client. In addition, we provide education in our role as a satellite of Southeast Community College (SCC). On-going classes cover regulatory certifications, CAD Systems, Printed Circuit Boards, and Surface Mount technologies.
