NCEE Labs Announces Staff Promotions with New Structuring
McElroy and Johnson Promoted to Testing Managers
LINCOLN, NEB. (January 25, 2010)- NCEE Labs, a leader in product compliance, EMC, and environmental testing, has just announced two key promotions. Bob McElroy has been promoted to Environmental Test Engineering Manager, and Joel R. Johnson has been promoted to EMC Test Engineering Manager.
According to Doug Kramer, NCEE’s Lab Manager, “Both Bob and Joel have been key leaders associated with our growth. Bob has in-depth experience in environmental testing, and Joel has specialized knowledge in electrical engineering; their expertise is critical to our customer’s testing success.
In his new role as Environmental Test Engineering Manager, McElroy will manage and lead the Environmental Testing Group in performing testing both for national and international standards and requirements. McElroy will be the primary contact for customers regarding environmental and dynamics testing.
McElroy has over eleven years of experience in compliance testing, with an emphasis in vibration and shock, environmental, and functional cycle testing. McElroy has comprehensive understanding of the testing requirements of customers in agriculture, automotive, construction, consumer products, information technology, and military. He also has expertise in cross-industry fields and their respective industry standards. Prior to joining NCEE Labs, McElroy was employed by Wyle Laboratories, Inc. in Cedar Falls, Iowa and MidCom, Inc. in Waverly, Iowa. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University.
Johnson, in his new position as EMC Test Engineering Manager, will be responsible for managing and leading the EMC and Electrical Testing Group in performing testing for national and international standards and requirements. Johnson will be the primary contact for customers regarding all EMC and electrical testing.
Johnson has fifteen years of experience in RF design and testing, and comprehensive understanding of electronics and testing processes. Johnson adds testing capabilities that have kept NCEE Labs as a leader in testing to new and updated compliance requirements from around the world and in many new product areas. Prior to joining NCEE Labs, Johnson worked at Bosch GmbH in Lincoln, NE for fifteen years. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
